Hyderabad: Piqued over the manner in which APSRTC workers are subjected to hardships, the Telangana Mazdoor Union (TMU) on Thursday served a notice threatening strike from December 23. The TMU, of which Major Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao is the honorary president, said the RTC administration is declining to double wages even though several conductors were performing double duties. The TMU would organise "Gate Dharna" on Friday and Saturday to begin with and would intensify the stir if their demands are not met.
