Two held for murder of youth, The Chandanagar Police have arrested two persons in connection with the sensational murder of the youth, Nayeem, 19, of Bapunagar on January 31.
Hyderabad: The Chandanagar Police have arrested two persons in connection with the sensational murder of the youth, Nayeem, 19, of Bapunagar on January 31.
Acting on a tip-off, police arrested Kiran, 22, and Kishore, 20, both residents of Lingampally on Tuesday.
Explaining the details, Additional DCP (Madhapur) M Srinivas Rao said, “Nayeem along with his friends used to frequently consume alcohol in the weekends. For quite some time, Nayeem avoided partying with his friends. His friends- Kiran and Kishore - got infuriated with the sudden change in Nayeem’s behavior and decided to teach him a fitting lesson. On January 31, they took Nayeem to Gopinagar lake and made him consume alcohol up to sedation and took him to a secluded place and killed him mercilessly. They stabbed him repeatedly with knives on throat, chest and stomach, resulting in his instant death.
The accused were produced before the court.
