Girl student hangs self in hostel room
A ninth standard student, Mamata, allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself to a ceiling fan in her hostel room at the Social Welfare Gurukul High School at Chittiboinapally village in Jadcherla mandal on Thursday.
Mahabubnagar: A ninth standard student, Mamata, allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself to a ceiling fan in her hostel room at the Social Welfare Gurukul High School at Chittiboinapally village in Jadcherla mandal on Thursday. She belonged to Ippalapalli village in Talakondapally mandal in the district.Mamata was studying in the school for the past four years. Hostel authorities were clueless as to why she had committed suicide. She hanged herself to the ceiling fan with a dupatta after completing her breakfast.Hostel staff broke open the door of the room as she did not come out of her room for long time. They found Mamata was gasping for breath when the staff brought her down. She died on the way to Mahabubnagar General Hospital. It is learnt that she left a suicide note.
