Already the key security installations at highways and airports are under the joint care of Octopus, the CRPF and NIA. The recruitment and training units have been doubled at Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad by the Special Forces wing of the NSG and SPG. Also, two units of NSG are located at Tirupati to keep vigil.
Hyderabad is under hawk eye with the Fake currency cell and Terror Funding of the NIA focus as it is the epicenter of fake currency and terror funding rackets.
A senior police official said that Hyderabad is the centre not just for youth recruitment for extremist/ terrorist activities but even printing of incendiary literature and fake currency.
