Six die in road mishap
Six Die In Road Mishap. Six persons –two women and four men - died on the spot while five others sustained injuries when a lorry and as SUV collided head on at Seetharampet of Yerpedu mandal in the early hours of Saturday.

Tirupati: Six persons –two women and four men - died on the spot while five others sustained injuries when a lorry and as SUV collided head on at Seetharampet of Yerpedu mandal in the early hours of Saturday. According to Yerpedu station house officer Mallikarjuna Rao, a 11-member pilgrim party of Gangireddy village in Dachepalli mandal of Guntur district were going to Tirumala in SUV and a lorry coming from opposite side rammed into their vehicle, killing six persons on the spot.
The deceased were identified as Tirupal (25), his wife A Bhargavi (24), his mother A Koteswaramma (48), maternal uncle M Venkateswar Rao (60), Nagaraju (17) and car driver Khajavali. The injured, Satyanarayana (35), K Gopalakrishna (55), A Sivasai (1), A Bhudeswar Rao (6) and Narendra (15) were shifted to SVRR hospital. Yerpedu police registered case and took up investigation.
