Can Pawan convince farmers for Chandrababu Naidu over AP capital land?

In the wake of opposition faced from the farmers over land pooling of their lands in the capital region, for construction of the Capital city of Andhra Pradesh, Jana Sena Party President and actor Pawan Kalyan is set to tour the Capital region to talk to the affected communities on March 5.

Pawan Kalyan, who met Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu recently to talk about the land acquisition issue, was reportedly asked by Naidu to help the government persuade the farmers to part with their land for construction of the capital as the foundation stone is being planned to be laid in the second week of May.

Although 32,100 acres of land was procured by the State Government through land pooling schemes, several farmers resisted the scheme, particularly the farming communities on the banks of river Krishna.

Pawan Kalyan will be interacting with the affected farmers, communities and the farmers who have not parted with their lands. With a lot riding on Pawan Kalyan, it is to see whether he will be able to convince the defiant farmers to part away with their lands for the larger interests of the State.
