A woman staged dharna in front of her lover’s residence at Cheruvugattu village in the district alleging that the latter had cheated her in the name of love.
Nalgonda: A woman staged dharna in front of her lover’s residence at Cheruvugattu village in the district alleging that the latter had cheated her in the name of love. Saritha, a native of Siripuram village of Kattangur mandal in the district, staged the dharna in front of the house of her lover Paramesh alleging that the latter had promised to marry her, but later ditched her after maintaining relation with her for years. She alleged that they were in love since they were pursuing Intermediate. Now, he was refusing to marry her saying they belonged to different castes, she alleged. “I decided to stage a dharna in front of my lover when there was no response to the complaint I lodged at Nalgonda Women Police Station against him. I will continue my dharna until I get justice,” she added.
