Ola Cab drivers protest for incentives
Alleging that Ola cab management had gone back on its promise of incentives, some 200 cab drivers and operators stormed into the office of Ola at its Kondapur office on Tuesday. Demanding incentives for another two years, the drivers demanded a written assurance from the management which had “lured” thousands of cab drivers to join them.

Speaking to Hans India, Telangana State Cab and Bus Operators Association (TSCBOA) president Syed Nizamuddin said that the Association resorted to stir after several drivers complained that the Ola had first lured them to join their services by offering daily incentive of Rs 3,000 for 10 bookings.
However, after enrolling hundreds of drivers, it simply reduced the incentive to Rs 750 daily. Huge offers were given initially, only to pull them out from the IT sector. This move has not benefitted anyone. While drivers lost their regular jobs, other cab operators were affected due to disruption of their fleet operations,” he added.
