Pawan counters Jagan: I stand behind you right now

In an attempt to counter the impact the YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy created during his one-day tour in the Andhra Pradesh capital area, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan gave a befitting counter to Jagan on Thursday.

Recently, YS Jagan assured the AP capital area farmers that all the fertile lands taken away by the Chandrababu Naidu government in the name of new capital, will be returned to farmers when the party returned to power at the earliest. "It may be a year or two or more, but the downfall of Chandrababu has commenced as he has angered the farmers. We will give back all the lands taken by the Government once we come to power," Jagan promised.

On Thursday, Pawan who visited the proposed capital region area near Guntur, countered YS Jagan by saying he stands behind them (farmers) right now. "I don't say I will get back the lands in the future and a few years later like that. From this moment,I will fight for the farmers' rights. I will not accept if your lands are being forcibly taken. I will fight if land is acquired through land acquisition."
