CPI (M) Party Central Executive member BV Raghavulu demanded Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to prove where and when 10 acres land in the state was allocated to the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and also said that seeking 33,000 acres of land for the proposed new capital was not correct by the AP Government and questioned the logic behind it.


He said that the CPI (M) party is opposed to the State Government on taking over rich farm lands and displacing farmers for building the capital. Also, so much land is not required for a capital city but why the Government is turning into a realtor promoting speculation said Mr. Raghavulu.


Adding further Mr. Raghavulu said that the Telugu Desam Government should pursue the Centre for the implementation of provisions of the AP Reorganization Act that includes special status.
