Two new cars from Mercedes
Two new cars from Mercedes.German luxury carmaker Mercedes- Benz launched two models - E-Class Cabriolet and CLS 250 CDI Coupe with diesel engine. They are priced at Rs 78.50 lakh and Rs 76.50 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) respectively.

They are priced at Rs 78.50 lakh and Rs 76.50 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) respectively. The new E Class Cabriolet is equipped with a meaty 3.0-litre, twin-turbo V6 petrol engine that produces 328 bhp of peak power and 480 Nm torque.

Mated to a seven-speed auto gearbox, the four-seat model zooms to 100 km/h from zero in mere 5.2 seconds. The second new luxury car, the CLS Class diesel, draws power from a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine which generates 204 bhp peak power and 500 Nm peak torque. Paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission, the CLS 250 CDI sprints from standstill to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds.
“We are intensifying our product offensive in the Indian market by launching cars from our global portfolio which are relevant here,” said Eberhard Kern, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India. The automaker will launch 15 new models and open 15 more showrooms in 2015.
