Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Lokayukta Justice B Subashan Reddy on Monday pulled up the Telangana government and its officers for not appearing before him in connection with the hearing on a petition filed by Congress leader and former MP Ponnam Prabhakar and MLA Sampath Kumar against Power Minister G Jagadish Reddy on corruption charges regarding release of fee reimbursement to private engineering colleges in the State when he was holding Education portfolio. The Lokayukta admitted the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) petition filed by Ponnam and Sampath and ordered the TRS government to file a counter on the allegations against the then Education minister.
