SHE Teams launched in Nizamabad

The district police on Thursday launched five ‘SHE Teams’ to provide safety and security to women in the city. Each team comprises a Sub-Inspector, one policewoman and three constables. These teams mingle with the common people and maintain surveillance at public places such as bus stops, railway stations, colleges, malls and parks. Launching the ‘SHE Teams’ SP Chandrashekhar Reddy said that the department launched the teams following the directive of Chief Minister.
