KCR Exhorts Collectors To Ensure Communal Peace. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Friday directed the District Collectors to accord paramount priority to law and order in the state to achieve rapid growth and speedy development.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Friday directed the District Collectors to accord paramount priority to law and order in the state to achieve rapid growth and speedy development. Addressing a two-day Collectors’ conference here, the Chief Minister remarked that the State cannot usher in an era of development in the absence of peace.

The Collectors and SPs should to play a key role in ensuring law and order, to bring down crime rate and ensure peace in the State. The Telangana State Naxalites had faced Naxalite problem,, KCR said, adding that the statehood had been achieved after a protracted struggle and the government was determined to live up to expectations of the people. KCR said the State government would work with determination to ameliorate living standards of people.

The TRS came to power with people’s blessings and the government would take this opportunity as great responsibility to serve them, he stated. He said the police and district administration should win the hearts of the people and enable them to live in peaceful conditions with communal amity and brotherhood. The government can reach out to the people only when the Collectors succeeded in delivering the goods in coordination with all other departments, including police, KCR averred.
