Daagudumootha Dandakor in Dil Raju’s hands

Ace producer Dil Raju will be distributing director Krish and Ramoji Rao’s production, ‘Daagudumootha Dandakor’, globally. Announcing this at a press meet on Saturday in Hyderabad, the producer said that he was clean bowled by the film. “It is a pure Telugu film- a reason which made me to snatch the distribution rights. After watching the film I suggested some changes and Krish incorporated them in the final cut,” he said.

He added, “Krish wanted me to distribute his first film, ‘Gamyam’, but I couldn’t at that time. After the film released, I repented my decision.”

‘Daagudumootha Dandakor’, a remake of Tamil hit ‘Saivam’, directed by AL Vijay, will hit the screens early May. Rajendra Prasad and Sara Arjun have played key roles.

Krish said when Vijay narrated him the idea three years ago he had his own doubts about it. “But Vijay went ahead and made the film. He sent me a DVD before the film released and I was enthralled to see what he had made. I then showed the film to my father and finally Ramoji Rao garu came into the picture,” he said.
