Rustic emotions on display.Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre on Saturday showcased ‘Colours of Novotel - An Evening With Artists’, an exhibition of works featuring euphoric collection of ethnic and contemporary art by renowned artists like Anuradha Thakur, Bhaskar Rao, Jeff Murry, Lona Logan, Rangoli Garg and Satheesh Khanna.
Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre on Saturday showcased ‘Colours of Novotel - An Evening With Artists’, an exhibition of works featuring euphoric collection of ethnic and contemporary art by renowned artists like Anuradha Thakur, Bhaskar Rao, Jeff Murry, Lona Logan, Rangoli Garg and Satheesh Khanna.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Neil Paterson General Manager, Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre. The event was attended by expats, corporate guests and many other art enthusiasts. The overriding impression of the live music playing in the background goes on to spell sophistication. Many of the works are city inspired pieces that explore unconventional painting technique.
The paintings will also portray the tribal culture of India in black and white whereas colours defining strength complemented by earthen colours that subdue the black bringing to life the delicate emotions. Speaking on the occasion, Neil Paterson said, “The Colours of Novotel is established as a platform to promote the art and culture and provide an opportunity to artists both established and aspiring to showcase their work.
Our long-term aim is to develop an understanding about Indian art. We feel are sure that the collection will provide new insights and perspectives on modern day art and the changing demographics in our country” The expo will be on till May 31.
