Burnt body of man found

Narsapur (Medak): Burnt body of an unidentified man aged between 25 and 30 years was found on the outskirts of Kondapur village, in Nupur mandal on Monday.

On finding the body near the forest area of the Narsapur-Hyderabad highway, local residents alerted police. The police suspect the killers might have murdered the victim elsewhere and burnt the body using kerosene to erase his identity. The accused sprinkled chilli powder around the body purportedly to prevent sniffer dogs tracing the trail of perpetrators.

Tupran DSP Venkateshwarlu told the media that the investigation from various angles was on. Two teams have been pressed into service to locate the killers.
