Canara Bank ATM looted

Thieves during the early hours on Monday fled with cash from an unguarded Canara Bank ATM installed at Safilguda in Malkajgiri area, police said. However, bank officials are yet to ascertain the exact amount stolen from the ATM located at Ordnance Road. According to police, the theft has been caught on camera with four unidentified persons removing the screws and then damaging the machine.

Senior police officers inspected the scene of crime and conducted a detailed inquiry. Fingerprint experts lifted some prints from the crime scene. Police registered a case and special teams were formed to probe the case.
