Rajini and Shankar’s hat trick

The duo is set to team up again for a new film which will be produced by ‘Kaththi’ producers

Speculations are rife in Kollywood that superstar Rajinikanth and ace director Shankar will be joining forces once again. While there is no concrete information whether the project will be a sequel to the smash hit ‘Robot’ or not, it is said that the film will be made by producers of 2014 Vijay-starrer blockbuster Tamil hit ‘Kaththi’.

The budget of the project, according to reports, is estimated to be Rs 200 crore. The film will move on to floors in five months time. Rajini and Shankar also teamed up for ‘Sivaji’ in 2007 and this would be their third collaboration together.
