2 yr old boy falls into sump, dies

A two-year-old boy died after he fell into a sump in Gurramguda, under Meerpet police station on Friday. According to police, the deceased, Rampally Mani, was playing outside his house in Srisai Avenue in Gurramguda on Thursday evening. The family members and parents grew suspicious when he did not come back home after almost an hour. They started searching for the boy in the neighbourhood and later found his body in the sump of a building.

They started searching for the boy in the neighbourhood and later found his body in the sump of a building. A pall of gloom descended on the family following the death of Rampally. Based on a complaint lodged by boy's father, a case has been registered.
