Hyderabad: High Court at Hyderabad on Friday has asked the Andhra Pradesh government to take a decision on the objections raised by the farmers as per the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority Act (AP CRDA Act), and allow the farmers to carry on their agricultural operations without hindrance. The relief given by the court is similar to that of the relief which it had extended to farmers from Guntur by a single judge bench on Thursday, through an interim order.

Several farmers from the CRDA area from Guntur district had earlier contended in their petitions that the officials of CRDA have been going ahead with the Land Pooling Scheme (LPS), and complained that they were not allowed to carry out agricultural operations, without disposing of the objections raised by them to the Land Pooling Scheme (LPS).

Following this, in its earlier interim order, the court had asked the government to dispose of the objections raised by the farmers as per the rules and time frame set in the CRDA Act. Till then, it has directed the government not to interfere with the properties of the appellants, and allowed them to carry out their agricultural operations.
