New chairpersons for FLO, YFLO
New hands took over the FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) and Young FICCI Ladies Organisation (YFLO) on Friday. The present chairpersons of FLO and YFLO Monika Agarwal and Shankuntala Divi completed their term and relinquished their office as a new team took over from them in a function held at Taj Krishna.

New chairpersons of FLO and YFLO Rekha Lahoti and Samia Alam Khan and their governing board members assumed their office. Politician and social activist Shazia Ilma graced the event as a chief guest and spoke about principles of politics. “It wasn’t enough for me to be journalist and remain a mute spectator. I want to be the decision maker in the politics. I want to reinstall the principles back into politics. India’s favourite game is the blame game. It is easy to keep blaming the government.
It is time to plunge into action, take charge and work towards changing our country,” she said. Rekha Lahoti, the new chairperson of FLO, is currently a CEO of Kalakriti Enterprise, which is into art, e-commerce, fashion and construction. Samia Alam Khan, the new YFLO chairperson, is currently a partner for a leading fashion and life-style exhibition ‘Araaish’ in Hyderabad. She is also a director at ‘The Hyderabad Deccan Cigarette Factory’.
