Opposition parties are fake coins stalling development: Chandrababu

AP chief minister Chandrababu Naidu said today that the opposition parties had become useless coins and are working with their single agenda to stall development activities. Congress regime was just a 'regime of robbers and every one looted the state to his capacity', he said adding that even the state bifurcation had been done illogically without giving a new capital to the residuary state.

Launching the Neeru-Chettu program at Prakasam district, Chandrababu said he had taken up the "Jala deeksha"as the ground water levels have touched rock bottom and severe drinking water shortage had hit the villages and towns of the state this summer. 'This program facilitated a water audit in villages and also plan schemes at grass root level to improve water sources for each village .

The AP CM said it was his endeavor to provide irrigation water to every acre of farmers lands and drinking water to every parched throats in the state. 'Though thousands of crores were spent in the name of irrigation in congress rule, but not even an additional acre was irrigated,' he said.
