One more bhakti channel is hitting the devotional space in the state to cash in on the huge following of elders and women and the advertisement support of FMCG commodities.
Bhakti, Spiritualism and Devotional channels, publications and music are a paradise for money spinning operations.
The last few years have seen the popularity of devotional channels in Telugu going up and this week had one more offering in the form of ‘Darshanam’. The new channel from 6TV bouquet, attracted a host of religious leaders, artists and also the Endowments Ministers of both the Telugu States at its launch.
Apart from the regular programming and discourses, the bhakti channel aims to air 300 mythological movies and five serials and two animation program, Yeleti Suresh Reddy, 6TV Group Chairman said at the launch. Darshanam CEO, Sivalenka Sarma announced that the group has brought changes in aesthetics and graphics and the primetime content with popular anchor Mallanna joining Ramulamma on prime time on 6TV Telangana.
