The advisory body of HBS (Hyderabad Business School), in a meeting held on Monday to evaluate the progress of the institute, stressed on the need to instill societal consciousness among its students. “HBS has made remarkable progress in the past two years – a fact that the advisory body of Hyderabad Business School, GITAM University, has satisfactorily acknowledged”, said S.S. Prasada Rao, Dean and Director of HBS, in a statement.

Hyderabad: The advisory body of HBS (Hyderabad Business School), in a meeting held on Monday to evaluate the progress of the institute, stressed on the need to instill societal consciousness among its students. “HBS has made remarkable progress in the past two years – a fact that the advisory body of Hyderabad Business School, GITAM University, has satisfactorily acknowledged”, said S.S. Prasada Rao, Dean and Director of HBS, in a statement.

The body believes that imparting a sense of societal consciousness also makes business sense. Though the students of HBS have been learning individual social responsibility through annual programmes such as “Joy of Giving”, their activities must reach out farther, opined the advisory body. Prof. Prasada Rao thanked the GITAM management for providing unlimited resources. The meeting was chaired by V.V. Bhanoji Rao, an economist and member, governing body of GITAM University. L.S. Murty, Chair-PGP, IIM Bangalore, Kinnera Murty, ASCI, V.Venkaiah, former VC, Krishna University, were among the members present at the meeting.
