Producer Kalyan accused of assaulting lady doctor

Telugu Movie Producer C Kalyan is back in the news for wrong reasons. This time, the producer has been accused of assaulting a lady doctor identified as Dr Kavitha.

On Monday night, the doctor approached the police and filed a complaint against the producer. In her complaint, the doctor stated that she had deposited Rs 1.14 crore with the apartments in Jubilee Hills as the compensation amount paid by the Metro Rail.

However, Kalyan, who resides in the same apartments without informing anyone, opened a separate account for the amount. On being questioned about the account, he abused and even assaulted the lady doctor. The police registered a case against the producer under sections 506, 509 and 245 of the Indian Penal Code.

Meanwhile, C Kalyan is busy with the release of his upcoming film Uttama Villain starring Kamal Haasan and is yet to respond to the controversy.
