TDP MP Garikapati’s staff attacked. Some unidentified miscreants attacked personal assistant and driver of TDP Rajya Sabha Member Garikapati Ram Mohan Rao at his house near Venkateswara temple in Punjagutta here on Saturday night.
Hyderabad: Some unidentified miscreants attacked personal assistant and driver of TDP Rajya Sabha Member Garikapati Ram Mohan Rao at his house near Venkateswara temple in Punjagutta here on Saturday night.
The MP was not in the house when the incident took place. After Ram Mohan Rao lodged a complaint with the Punjagutta police, the ACP (Punjagutta) visited the house and gathered information.
The MP told the reporters that he was at a loss to understand as to what could be the reason behind the attack on his PA and other staff members. “I am unable to figure it out,” he observed.
The PA and the driver told police that more than 10 members barged into the house and attacked them around 10 pm and beat them severely without explaining the reasons. The Punjagutta police began an investigation into the incident based on the footage available on the CCTV cameras.
