Water Board officials clean up Hitec railway stn
As part of the Swachh Telangana-Swachh Hyderabad programme, the Water Board officials visited Madhapur area. Kamareddy MLA Gampa Goverdhan and Water Board MD Jagadeeshwar visted Ayyappa Society, Hitec Railway station and interacted with the locals.

Civic issues like waste disposal, water supply position, sewer overflows, streetlights, roads, lack of security and optimum use of existing vacant lands were prioritised and the same were addressed during this event. M Jagadeeshwar, suggested to form seven functional sub-communities on these issues and called for a detailed review meeting tomorrow to discuss about a sustained action plan to solve these problems.
Gampa Govardhan and M Jagadeeshwar said that the objective of the Telangana Government’s Swachh-Telangana, Swachh-Hyderabad can be achieved with community participation. Among others who participated in the programme include Mrs K L Vatsala Devi, Nodal Officer, GHMC, P Venkateshwar Rao, General Manager (Engg.), O&M Division No XV, Madhapur, HMWSSB.
