Swachh Hyderabad saves child labourers from mineral water plant
During the Swacch Hyderabad’ campaign, six child labourers were rescued from a mineral water packing and distribution unit on Wednesday.

Shamshabad DCP A.R. Srinivas and other officials, as a part of the cleanliness campaign had visited Rasheed Colony in Hassannagar area. While participating in the cleanliness drive, their path was blocked by some good carriers and trucks near Aqua Shine and Aqua Amruth.
The officials stepped in to inform the authorities and found six child labourers who were from Bihar working in the unit. Inspector of Mailerdevpally, S Venkat Reddy said that the children’s details have been collected and handed over to Child Line Officials.
On probing further, it was found that an agent named Vinod from Bihar has sent the kids to Hyderabad. While he has absconded, a manhunt has been called to catch him.
