A young gym trainer suffered injuries in the Ashok Garden area of Bhopal on Friday after a man hurled acid on her while she was on her way to work.
As per reports, the man who threw acid at the girl was later found dead. He reportedly stabbed himself after being beaten by a mob.
A case has been lodged at the Ashok Garden police station but the police has refused to take action, said the victim.
"For the past four days, we have been running from one police station to another but no help is being offered. The accused is roaming scot free. He should be punished. I demand justice," the victim told ANI here.
She is being currently undergoing treatment in the Narmada Trauma Centre.
She alleged that the accused had reportedly been threatening her and her family, adding they stay in the same locality and have not been on good terms for long.
