Brahmotsavam team in recce mode. The makers of superstar Mahesh Babu-starrer ‘Brahmotsavam’ – director Sreekanth Addala, cameraman Ratnavelu and art director Thota Tarani – are currently busy scouting locations in and around Vijayawada for the film.
The makers of superstar Mahesh Babu-starrer ‘Brahmotsavam’ – director Sreekanth Addala, cameraman Ratnavelu and art director Thota Tarani – are currently busy scouting locations in and around Vijayawada for the film. A large portion of the film, a family drama, is set in Vijayawada and Addala, we hear, is keen to give the film an authentic look by shooting at real locations.

As a part of the recce, the team has visited several eminent places like Kanaka Durga temple, Prakasam Barrage and Emmalakudur. To be launched on May 31, the film, a production of Prasad V Potluri, will see Mahesh playing a wealthy man. The makers are planning to wrap up the film in 90 days. Samantha and Rakul Preet Singh are tipped to be the leading ladies of the film which will have musical renditions by Mickey J Meyer.
