Speaking about stray dog menace, Amala said, “Dogs do not have any intention to harm people or children. However, they are animals and tend to run if one takes to heels at their sight or hurls stones at them. They are not anti-human. Dogs need to be sterilised.” She insisted the people of Vijayawada to prevail upon the municipal corporation authorities to implement the ABC and vaccination programmes to preempt any threat from stray dogs.
