Kharif Crop Sown In 59.56 Lakh Hectare So Far. The total sown area as on 29th May, as per reports received from States, stands at 59.56 lakh hectare as compared to 59.47 lakh hectare at this time last year.
The total sown area as on 29th May, as per reports received from States, stands at 59.56 lakh hectare as compared to 59.47 lakh hectare at this time last year. It is reported that rice has been sown/transplanted in 3.08 lakh ha, sugarcane in 40.70 lakh hectare and cotton in 8.82 lakh ha.
