City boy makes it to national Skating Hockey team. City teen JBNV Abhishek has been selected to be part of Indian Skating Hockey team. Abhishek is one among the four other participants who were selected from Andhra Pradesh.
City teen JBNV Abhishek has been selected to be part of Indian Skating Hockey team. Abhishek is one among the four other participants who were selected from Andhra Pradesh. He was placed for the nationals after he exhibited merit at the selection competition held at Faridabad, Haryana from January 25 to 28.

On the occasion, the management and administration of Nalanda Vidyanikethan where Abhishek was studying organised a get-together with the students and felicitated the young prodigy. He was appreciated for his efforts and medals that he had earlier won in district, State and Inter State level championships.
Principal Madala Padmaja said that they have produced many national and international level players and sports stars from their institute so far. “We would emphasise on the interests that our children have and make an attempt to enhance them,” she added. Parents of Abhishek, his class mates and teachers were present.
