Shamita Shetty is all set to shake a leg in Jhalak Dikhla ja this season.”Yes I did get an offer to participate in Jhalak at least twice. But owing to my studies -interior designing course which I was pursuing in London, I could not participate in this reality show. Also I had suffered a few injuries. Therefore having recovered from all those injuries I have decided to participate in this unique dance show.”

Adding further she says, ”I love dancing, Shilpa knows about it and thus advised me to enjoy this dancing journey in totality.”

On the film front she says,”I do not have a film at the moment but it’s not a,”Bye Bye “to films from my side. If something good comes my way I shall definitely be a part of any film.”

Shamita is coming after a break to which she adds, "Yes! I was open to any thing whether it is on the idiot box or on the big screen. I accepted this offer and I am working very hard as I know fully well those who are participating with me are already known faces. They have their own fan following and so I will have to recreate my own aura for which I am working day in and day out keeping my physiotherapy in place. My hurt hurt a bit while rehearsing dance numbers for Jhalak. But that does not keep me away from doing my rigorous practice. For me, I am participating to win!!” she concludes.
