Actor Sivaji to be president of AP Special Status committee
A committee has been formed to press the Central Government to fulfill its promise to accord special category status to Andhra Pradesh and keep up the promises of the AP bifurcation bill.

Actor Sivaji will be the president of the committee, while Andhra Intellectuals Forum convener Chalasani Srinivas has been appointed as honorable president. Malamahanadu convener Karem Sivaji will the the convener of the committee.
Speaking on the occasion, Sivaji said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu who had shown a lot of interest on conducting Godavari Pushkaralu,was maintaining stoic silence in obtaining special category status for the state. He also asked Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan to fight for the cause and bring pressure on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
