AP Special Status: TDP leaders put ball in Pawan's court

With the Centre making it clear that special category status would not be granted to any state in the country, some TDP leaders have started criticizing the Centre, while a few have thrown the ball into Janasena chief Pawan kalyan's court.

TDP will continue to fight for special status: Chandrababu

Speaking to media persons in Vijayawada, the AP CM said that the TDP would continue to fight for Special Status to AP. The union minister's (Rao Inderjit Singh ) has not made the statement based on the report of the 14th Finance Commission. He further said that it will not apply to AP as injustice meted out to the state at the time of the bifurcation.

We knew it already: JC Diwakar Reddy

TDP MP from the Anantapur parliamentary constituency JC Diwakar Reddy has once again made controversial comments.

"We including Chandrababu Naidu is aware that AP will not get special status," said Anantapur MP JC Diwakar Reddy. All the TDP MPs are aware of it and Chandrababu has been trying his best to get the funds from the Centre because of this, he added.

Should I parade naked? Rayapati

When the media questioned TDP MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao on the special status, he said "What else should i do. Should parade naked to get the special status."

Throwing the ball in Pawan Kalyan's court, Rayapati said that they would follow the latter's direction if Pawan fights for the special status.
