Awareness programme on endangered species at zoo

As part of the continuous wildlife education and awareness programmes, the Nehru Zoological Park (NZP) conducted an awareness programme for youth on Sunday. The programme, which was attended by 200 youth from the Telangana State Level Youth Exchange cum Convention, included talks on conservation and breeding of mouse deer and white-backed vulture at the zoo. The group were also taken around the zoo and educated about animal enclosures, exchange and awareness programmes conducted by the zoo authorities.
