Rakul Preet SinghActress Rakul Preet Singh, who played a fake writer in Ravi Teja-starrer ‘Kick 2’, says she cannot write in real life. “I don’t think I can write. I can think but when it comes to penning down my thoughts, I can’t do it,” says the actress who played Chaitra in the film which released last Friday.

“It’s a character close to my heart. I got to play an urban girl and a Bihari girl in the same film. To show the contrast between two characters was challenging,” she says. The actress had a kissing scene with Ravi Teja in the film and she says she was a bundle of nerves before the shot.

“A day before the shot was actually taken director Surender Reddy garu spoke about it. He convinced me that he will shoot it aesthetically which he eventually did. But I was nervous. My mother was on the sets and I did ask her to look somewhere when the shot was being taken,” she smiles.

Admittedly, she was bowled over by the nature of Ravi Teja. “He was very nice, grounded and made me feel very comfortable. He recently said that I was his female version in real life. I couldn’t have got a better compliment.” Rakul, who is living out of her suitcase for her work assignments with Ram Charan and NTR, is happy to be busy.

“I don’t know what to do in free time, hence I rather shoot,” she smiles. “My mother is with me most of the times and I hang out with my friends when I go to New Delhi. I don’t miss my personal life much,” concludes Rakul who is playing a graphic designer in Ram Charan’s next.
