Credit-based system to be implemented by Krishna University. A regional level awareness programme on ‘Choice Based Credit System’ (CBCS) and ‘Skill Development in Higher Education’ was organised by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Krishna University at PB Siddhartha Arts and Science College, on Monday.
A regional level awareness programme on ‘Choice Based Credit System’ (CBCS) and ‘Skill Development in Higher Education’ was organised by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Krishna University at PB Siddhartha Arts and Science College, on Monday.
The meeting discussed the aspects of having credit based selective process along with main subjects, semester system and other academic activities. Technical sessions on topics, ‘Introduction to CBCS in Krishna University’,’ CBCS Examination Pattern in Krishna University’, Evaluation’, ‘Skill Development Programmes’ and other ‘Vocational Programmes’ were held.
Vice Chancellor of Krishna University Prof. D Suryachandra Rao said, ‘’Krishna University strongly believes that implementation of CBCS in all colleges under its jurisdiction will be a boon for the students community in a big way.”
Special officer for Krishna University’s PG Center, Nuzuvid Prof. M V Basweswara Rao, president of Siddhartha Academy N Venkateswarlu, Director of NIIT Yuva Jyothi N Phani Ram, coordinator of IQAX R Kiran Kumar, principal of PB Siddhartha College M V N Padma Rao and others spoke on the occasion. The awareness programme for the administration and management staff was held in association with Commissionerate of Collegiate Education.
