The mid-budget Z55 Dash is available in two color options i.e. Black & Gold and White & Silver and is priced at Rs. 6,490. The handset will be sold exclusively via e-commerce site, Flipkart.

The Videocon Z55 Dash features a 5-inch HD display with screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The display is further protected with Dragontrail X glass and anti-fingerprint coating.

The handset is powered by a 1.4GHz Octa-Core processor and packs 1GB RAM. The Z55 Dash offers an internal storage of 8GB, which can be expanded to 32GB via the microSD card.

The phone supports the older version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat Operating System out-of-the-box. The Videocon Z55 Dash uses 2,200 mAh battery. The phone sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for video-calling.

On the connectivity front, it includes Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, and 3G. To make its products affordable and stylish, Videocon is manufacturing the handsets locally. The Videocon Z55 Dash will cater to the budget-conscious segment of the society.
