On Tuesday, the second day of the AP Assembly session, a strong wordy duel occurred between YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Minister Atchannaidu.

Atchannaidu was reacting to the charges leveled by YS Jagan in connection with the cash-for-vote scam. The TDP leader alleged that YS Jagan met the TRS leaders secretly at a hotel and hatched a conspiracy against Chandrababu in the cash-for-vote scam.

YS Jagan gave strong retorts to Atchannaidu and threw an open challenge to him. He asked: "I don't know even the name of the hotel you are talking about. I will quit my post if you show any evidence. Will you make Chandrababu resign if you fail to show proof?" Atchannaidu accepted the challenge and said that he has all the evidence to prove his statement.
