According to reports, the youth identified as Raj Kumar poured petrol and tried self-immolation near the Assembly main gate. But the police personnel quickly overpowered him before he could set himself fire.
Raj Kumar said that he would sacrifice his life like Bhagat Singh. Meanwhile, the situation turned tense at the OU university with clashes between police and students.
