The leading lady of the film has been a constant source of speculation. After the names of Kajal Aggarwal and Amyra Dastur did the rounds, the latest we hear is that 2015 Miss India Aditi Arya has been in discussions with the makers.
Pointed out a source, “Aditi was told about the project recently. She was gung-ho about the prospect of making her debut in such a big project. She agreed in principle but since she is required to participate in another beauty pageant contest, apparently, she has asked the makers to wait until December.
“The representatives of the project obliged her and said that they will adjust her schedule (shooting dates) accordingly. The Delhi girl will be flying down to Hyderabad shortly to meet the team,” adds the source.
The Telugu remake of ‘Thani Oruvan’, a cat-and-mouse game between a righteous cop and a scheming entrepreneur, will be helmed by Surender Reddy. The joint venture between NV Prasad and DVV Danayya is likely to flag-off in November.
