NECC holds 2K Run to promote egg consumption . The National Egg Coordination Committee (NECC) organised a `2K Run’ in the city on Friday to mark World Egg Day to promote awareness among people about the health benefits of consumption of egg.
The National Egg Coordination Committee (NECC) organised a `2K Run’ in the city on Friday to mark World Egg Day to promote awareness among people about the health benefits of consumption of egg. Krishna Zilla Parishad Chairperson Gadde Anuradha flagged off the 2K Run from Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium to PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science at Moghalrajpuram.

People from all walks of life enthusiastically participated in the 2K Run. The Animal Husbandry Department and ICDS also joined the NECC campaign to promote egg consumption. Speaking on the occasion, the ZP Chairperson explained the health benefits of consumption of egg as it contains rich proteins and vital vitamins for the healthy growth of human body.
