Opposition parties' activists observed a bandh on Saturday protesting against the Telangana government over the farm loans waiver. But with the party activists getting arrested, TDP MLA Revanth Reddy condemned the action calling it a scar on democracy.
Revanth Reddy lashed out at the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for ignoring the farmers issues by evading the farm loans waiver and issuing fresh loans to prevent suicides.
Revanth Reddy even accused the Chief Minister along with his family of earning commissions through building contracts. The TDP leader added that until the government agrees to sort out the issue of farm loans waiver, the agitation won't stop and would intensify.
