With an objective of educating on the latest treatment possibilities for lung cancer the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) conducted a Continuous Medical Education (CME) at the hospital premises in Banjara Hills recently.

With an objective of educating on the latest treatment possibilities for lung cancer the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) conducted a Continuous Medical Education (CME) at the hospital premises in Banjara Hills recently.

The programme, which was inaugurated by director of NIMS Dr Manohar, was organised as part of the activities for the lung cancer awareness month.

Doctors and faculty came together to discuss the latest advancements in lung cancer management. The advances in imaging, pathology, surgical, radiation and chemotherapy were discussed as viable options for patients’ survival.

Faculty from chest, general medicine, radiology, nuclear medicine, pathology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology and medical oncology were present during the event.
