Seminar on ‘Indian Constitution, Ambedkar’s role’

Kamalamma, the chief guest, inaugurated the one-day seminar on “Indian Constitution – Values” & “Role of Dr B R Ambedkar” at NTPC-Ramagundam on Saturday. NTPC SC & ST Employees Welfare Association organised the seminar.
Speaking on the occasion, the guest of honour, P K Mohapatra, ED-Ramagundam, said that Ambedkar’s thoughts and teachings are very relevant. The values incorporated by him in the constitution touch almost all areas, be it moral, political, social or democratic. However, among all other efforts, his contribution for the upliftment of the neglected will be remembered forever, he added.
Speaking on this occasion, Ram Kuber, GM (O&M); Dr G Vinod Kumar, Principal, College of Law, OU, Hyderabad; J B Raju, former Director, All India Radio, Hyderabad; and others have highlighted the contribution of Dr B R Ambedkar to Indian society and polity.
President of Deepthi Mahila Samithi Sujata Mohapatra also attended the programme as Guest of Honour.
Earlier, President of NTPC SC & ST Employees Welfare Association M Rajkumar welcomed the dignitaries and participants. GM (TS) S R Bhavaraju, GM (Operation), V M Rajan, AGM (M/ C&M), K K Rao, Head of HR, R Hari Kumar, Office bearers of different unions and associations of NTPC and other nearby organizations, HoDs, employees, students and others were present in large number at the seminar.
