A day after TDP senior leader Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy accused the TRS of indulging in blackmail politics, his party MLA Vivekananda Goud parroted the same on Tuesday.

Addressing newsmen at NTR Trust Bhavan here, Goud said that joining the TRS was being imposed as a condition for grant of funds for developmental works in any constituency across Telangana State.
Referring to certain political activists in Quthbullapur who joined the TRS recently, he said that many leaders were being implicated in false cases and were forced to join the TRS to get those cases closed.
He added that Panchayat Raj Minister K Taraka Rama Rao was openly threatening the political opponents of dire consequences if they refused to join the ruling party. The TDP MLA alleged that the TRS leaders were playing with the lives and careers of people only to strengthen themselves in the State.
