Thanga Magan starring Dhanush, Samantha and Amy Jackson had a grand release on Friday. The movie produced by Dhanush himself was also released in Telugu titled as Nava Manmadhudu.
Directed by Velraj who earlier directed VIP, Thanga Magan released in about 750 theaters worldwide. Garnering positive response from the critics, the movie is also raking in moolah at the box office. According to the trade sources, the first day collections are approximately around Rs. 7 - 8 crores.
While the Telugu version, Nava Manmadhudu has collected nearly Rs.50 Lakh to Rs. 1 crore at the box office.
